INTRODUCTION
Elevate Eleven tutors children in small groups (6-7 in a group) from school years 4-6 (ages 8-11) for selective school entrance exams, SATs and for general confidence boosting with maths and English which enables children to be put into higher groups in their chosen secondary schools.
Our maths curriculum takes children to the end of year 6 work, extending the most able and filling gaps in their knowledge as they are taught complex problems in all areas.
Our English focuses on Comprehension, Grammar and Creative writing. Many of our English resources are our own, particularly for creative writing where children can enjoy expressing themselves within a structured framework so they can achieve the highest marks possible.
We aim for children to expand their vocabulary and improve spelling through a certain amount of verbal reasoning and we teach exam technique through nonverbal which is enjoyable for all children whether they need this for exams or not. It is important to note, however, that most of the curriculum is based on Maths and English learning.
